We are in the province of Pontevedra, on the Atlantic coast, southwest of Galicia. The Ría de Aldán lies between the rías of Pontevedra and Vigo at the end of the Morrazo Peninsula.
Aldán is one of the parishes that belong to the municipality of Cangas de Morrazo. Among its many attractions, which also will show here, we want to highlight the many beaches and coves that you can enjoy in Cangas.
Today we start with the beaches of San Cibrán and Los Picos, located at the mouth of the River Orxas in Aldán.

San Cibrán Beach and Orxas River. San Cibrán at low tide forms an extensive sandy area suitable for walking and for the cultivation of cockles in a part of the beach. There is also a wooden boardwalk along it.
We can see to the right San Cibrán Beach and the river Orxas, to the left Los Picos Beach.

The tide is rising, the storm of last week left algae and leaves in abundance in this part of the beach.
